In Steamboat getting away feels a lot like coming home. We are a resort town, sure, but we’re known for our hospitality as much as our snow. Once you arrive in our valley, you’ll know that we are much more… from kids on skis being pulled down main street by horses, to sharing a chairlift with a local Olympian, this is a real town — & a lot of our locals were visitors once, too.

HOT AIR BALLOON RIDE

The ultimate mountain high. As you soar high above town and the mountains around Steamboat you’ll take in the fantastic views of the Yampa Valley and Steamboat Ski Resort. All hot air balloon rides include continental breakfast, flight certificate and traditional champagne ceremony.

SLEIGH RIDE DINNER

Dash through the snow as a pair of majestic draft horses pulls a sleigh through the Yampa Valley’s rolling hills before settling down to a delicious three-course dinner with all the trimmings. Prior to the sleigh ride, enjoy drinks and appetizers in the cozy Haymaker lodge.
